Mighty Oaks weekly group location Mighty Oaks sessions are held just inside the edge of 800 acres of privately owned ancient woodland in North Norfolk. We gather in a cathedral like room, under the tall pines, and our walk takes us through mixed woodland and varied terrain, over a small stream and past a large old pond. At base camp we have a mess tent with long table and seating where we eat, a traditional canvas bell tent with a coir mat floor, heated by a woodburning stove, for very small children and breastfeeding mamas, and a generous fire circle with benches around. There are trees to clamber and play, a sand pit and swing, and an ever-growing den between two massive fallen pines We use a compost toilet, with basic handwashing facilities.
